Description
Our client seeks a Credit Manager who will support the credit and risk process of their business to ensure the integrity, quality and enforceability of new business proposals written in their portfolio and the ongoing management of the portfolio.
You will also manage a small number of specialist brokers in certain sectors to meet new business targets. The role will carry a target based on the performance and profitability of the portfolio. You will have a personal credit approval authority as approved by the Board.
You will also assist the Directors in the management of our clients funder relationships including submitting new business proposals and meeting reporting
requirements. There will also be a requirement to take some management responsibility for the Operations team in the absence of the Administration Manager.
Candidate Profile
You will be located sensibly commutable to West London and will have 5 years experience of credit underwriting in a vendor or direct leasing environment and have held a credit authority.
You will have an excellent understanding and interpretation of financial statements , strong analytical skills excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret customers cashflow plus knowledge of deal structuring , documentation
You will have a confident telephone manner and be able to deal effectively with not only business partners but also customers are in default or arrears.
Salary range is to £50,000 with a further car allowance of £5,000 per annum plus performance based bonus of up to 15% of salary plus all usual large company benefits , 25 days holiday , contributory pension , private health & income protection.
