Description
Our client seeks an Underwriting Manager to underwrite new business proposals assessing risk and analyzing financial information for a variety of introducers. Our clients focus is on small ticket transactions and across a wide variety of assets.
Your role will be one of providing a high quality of service to introducers whilst simultaneously maintaining the highest of standards and you will be expected to look at a wide range of additional factors influencing the decision such as asset type , sector & geographical location of the customer.
Your role also has the potential to provide training to other team members including other underwriters & administration staff to further their development.
Candidate Profile
You will be an experienced underwriter with a proven record in small ticket leasing and possess strong interpersonal skills , be target driven and have a go getting personality demonstrating tenacity with a strong desire to succeed.
You will be well organized an excellent communicator & presenter , numerate and with strong analytical skills and practical approach to problem solving and the ability to work as part of a small team with an open & direct communications style.
Our clients seeks enthusiasm & drive and evidence of willingness to go the extra mile with a strong client focus and a flexible but resilient attitude.
You will be someone who is sensibly commutable to their offices as such someone based in any of the following areas we feel would be viable North Herts , North Oxfordshire , Bedfordshire , Northamptonshire or South Leicestershire.
Salary to £40,000 with all normal large company benefits including a generous pension scheme and a performance bonus to 10% of base salary
