Our client are a long established structured finance specialist who provides a unique offering of structuring, arranging and residual value risk financing to the UK Mid & Large ticket asset finance market.
They have a vacancy for an Origination Director to accelerate an exciting phase of the businesses development.
Through its tender panel approach our client provides whole of market mid and long-term financing options and support to its clients by way of leasing, hire purchase, receivables and structured debt facilities for their capital expenditure programs.
The role will work independently but as part of a team in all aspects of originating and executing medium to high value structured and vanilla asset finance transactions.
This will include working closely with new and existing clients and external financiers in structuring (where appropriate) and preparing term sheets, obtaining approvals and executing transactions with the support of a central London based team. This will require high quality consistent dialogue with all parties both internal and external to ensure income levels are met and client expectations are exceeded.
You will need to be sensibly and sustainably commutable to largely work from our clients central London offices when not meeting customers. Some tactical home working is expected to be viable but this is not a work from home role.
You must have a strong and successful background in higher end middle and bigger ticket finance and possess a range of technical skills and commercial experience commensurate with a role where typical transaction sizes range from £1m to £50m +
We are seeking a well connected new business hunter with well developed relationship management skills.
You should have a breadth and depth of customer contacts that can be re-leveraged in an environment where a broad range of mainly hard asset classes are focussed on and can be financed on a very wide variety of structures.
You may have a background with a tier one bank asset financier but be seeking a fresh challenge where your variable income is no longer paid on a discretionary and year end basis but you are rewarded based on your personal contribution.
Alternatively you may be working for a boutique asset financier but be seeking a stronger package with a better career potential.
Salary up to £80,000 on target earnings of 100% of base salary with 1/3 of all fee income paid as commission above a threshold. Commission is paid quarterly in arrears.
