Our client is a well established and highly regarded name in the consumer finance arena, with an excellent brand.
They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team based at the Leeds Head Office.
Predominantly office based, but with some travel throughout the UK, you will be responsible for maximising consumer finance business, both from a portfolio of existing relationships, who are typically major high street retail names.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ongoing management of existing retailer relationships.
- Strategic account management ensuring added value to the relationship
- Achievement of targets including volume, profit and margin
- Monitoring and re-evaluation of the effectiveness of campaigns
- Monitoring of competitor activity
- Ensuring business written is compliant and within company risk guidelines
- Working closely with key stakeholders within the business to maximise opportunity whilst minimising risk
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of relationship building and account management from within a professional B2B sales environment. Ideally this will be from retail/consumer finance, but other areas of the financial services sector will also be considered. You will be numerate, and able to analyse data effectively, with strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
