J2339 - Our client is seeking an Account Manager, Construction Finance to maximise territory equipment and financing sales opportunities through effective use of all sales and delivery resources available. Manage and develop excellent new and existing customer relationships. Work closely with Dealer Sales Teams to coach and train in the effective use of selling with finance sales techniques and use of point of sale pricing tools. Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, SW Eng.
Produce sales volumes to meet growth target, overseeing all business emanating on territory, treating customers fairly, working closely with Direct Sales Team and Dealer Sales Teams to maximise territory business potential making best use of all sales resources available.
Identify new customers and develop incremental new business by joint working with Dealers in key Construction market and adjacent market sectors.
Maintain and develop quality Customer relationships with designated accounts in order to maximise repeat business opportunities and meet the customer’s needs.
Maintain and develop quality Dealer Sales Team relationships acting as an ambassador for Financing to maximise the sales opportunities emanating from each Dealership.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to Dealer Teams in the sales technique of using finance to sell new and used equipment using pricing tools.
Ensure that penetration of Dealer sales meet required targets.
Ensure that quality of documentation and administration meets Company standards and FCA regulations.
Specialist in Asset Finance (in particular Construction Finance); responsible for providing excellent service and solutions designed to meet our customers’ funding requirements.
Ability to promote finance products (hire purchase and lease) to customers who are purchasing construction or agricultural machinery and / or commercial vehicles.
Business development - develop excellent relationships with new and existing customers, and dealer sales staff whilst developing Financing profile within a niche market sector.
Familiar with industry compliance and Regulation (Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection Act, Know Your Customer, Treating Customers Fairly, etc).
Proven experience of vendor, hard asset or general finance structuring (ideally in a field-based role).
Excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, numerate, good time-management skills.
Good technical finance knowledge.
Computer literate – Microsoft Office and an aptitude for working with the latest digital technology.
Full driving licence.
