Jan Szmigin, MBA (Cranfield), began his financial marketing career in 1980 as a relationship manager at Chase Manhattan Bank and moved into leasing as VP-Marketing. After seven years as managing director of Hambros Vendor Leasing, he shifted focus to Central and Eastern Europe. There he established one of the first leasing companies in Poland, followed by a captive network for AT&T Capital from a hub in Vienna. He concluded this period abroad by establishing De Lage Landen Leasing Polska SA. After returning to the UK he was a Principal for a leasing consultancy for seven years before founding LeasingWorld.

Allan Foad spent 35 years with Lloyds TSB Bank, which included two spells of working in leasing/asset finance. In 1994, he commenced his second spell as deputy managing director of Lloyds Leasing. A big-ticket specialist, he went on to play a crucial role in the bank's Structured Asset Finance business providing solutions for the purchase of major strategic assets and taking on complex transactions in the international arena.

Kathy Lewis joined the Finance & Leasing Association in 1990 and undertook a wide range of policy work. Latterly, she was editor of the industry publication Credit & Car Finance. Kathy's long experience in the finance and leasing industry allows her to write with authority about all the major issues of the day across a wide spectrum of industry markets.

David Winders is a business architect, providing consulting and training services such as ”Target Operating Models“, lean design and the shaping of major transformation initiatives. He has a background in leasing and asset finance, and looks after a variety of Household-name clients of his own company, Dever Solutions Limited, both within asset finance and the wider financial services market, including life, pensions, multifunds and general insurance.

Michele studied for a degree in Psychology, and has worked in contact centre management, sales support, public relations and client liaison. Her role at LeasingWorld is to develop and manage the new Career Opportunities section and the Marketplace (formerly Classifieds) section.

Sarah Knott is Practice Manager at Howard Painter & Co Ltd, of Worcester, and deals with all the day-to-day aspects of LeasingWorld's financial administration, reporting, accounting and taxation.

Mark Smith of Obantec developed the first LeasingWorld website in 2003 and then created the current version of the LeasingWorld website in 2006. Mark takes care of all internet and web aspects for LeasingWorld, and is joint longest serving member of the team.
