Any good awards ceremony is more about the people than the prizes. While we can put together a drinks reception, raffles, after-dinner party and a fine dinner, our guests who provide the atmosphere. Here’s your last chance to be among them. Does that last Silver table have your name on it?

As of today, Wednesday 29th August, there is just one single table remaining at our Leasing World Awards on October 30th. The Platinum and Gold tables were the first to be snapped up, and the remaining Silver table is still an excellent spot to be in two months’ time, for several reasons:

This year will be the first time the Leasing World Awards Ceremony has hosted 300 people. It is going to be a full house at the Hilton London Bankside (2-8 Great Suffolk Street, London SE1 0UG).

One of the most coveted awards we hand out is Broker of the Year. Most of our past broker champions have caught the eye of an investor so we really regard this award as a good step on the stairway to success. But there are twenty other categories to consider if you’re not a broker.

We give awards in niches that aren’t usually recognised. Nearly all the nominations and submissions that we were expecting are already in, so if you are hoping to be in the running for (for instance) Block Funder of the Year or Top PE Lessor, start writing that submission today!

To ensure it’s an open race, we deliberately keep the criteria as much qualitative as quantitative. In pretty much all of the categories, the judges look for “the difference” over the year, some might think of it as the improvement, the winning combination of business growth, dynamism, clever ideas, and good management that has earned the respect of the winner’s peers.

Each category is assessed by two or three judges, depending on the number of entries for the category, with judges nominating their first and second choices in categories they are reviewing. To avoid any undue bias, the judges do not meet to discuss the entries, but submit their verdicts without knowing how the other judges have awarded their votes.

You’ll see the shortlist when we publish it on September 10th and more importantly you’ll be able to see and applaud the winners on October 30th…if you’re lucky enough to have a seat for the big reveal.

We hope to see you there on the night!
