White Clarke Group system installed in record time

FGA Capital (formerly Fiat Auto Financial Services) was faced with the challenge of implementing a POS solution within part of its Retail operation. FGA had taken over the Jaguar Land Rover brands (“JLR”), and needed a solution sophisticated enough for the JLR brand but also capable of a rapid deployment. 

The challenge was an immovable deadline with just a 3 month delivery window, inclusive of system customisation, and testing. The CALMS application from White Clarke Group (“WCG”) went live on time, and on budget.

“It was very much a joint effort,” says Brendan Gleeson, WCG Group Sales and Marketing Director. “Our own project people and the FGA Project Team quickly gelled into a single unit with a common goal.” 

Brian Williams, at that time FGA Capital Commercial Director, was able to report, “It is a huge step forward, and our people are very happy with it.  It is completely web-based and we have real control; it’s a significant advantage as we are able to make changes to it ourselves.  Being able to configure the system internally gives us that all important speed to market.”
