6th Dec 2017. AF-PA - Off The Fence
The AF-PA held a celebratory year-end lunch events at Marylebone's Sports Bar and Grill on 6th December. Over the course of a networking aftrnoon the AF-PA, and specifically Johnnie Halliday, ran a raffle and an auction, with some spectacular prizes donated by generous benefactors: dinners in exotic locations, a signed painting of the Gallagher brothers, a T-shirt signed by the England women's football team, and many more.
The money raised was split between two charities. Off the Fence works from its Hove base to help homeless people back onto their feet. The British Lung Foundation (listed elsewhere on our charities page) is the only UK charity looking after the nation’s lungs, making sure that one day everyone will breathe clean air with healthy lungs.
