J3655 – Head of Stocking – UK (Remote) – Asset Finance

Excellent salary, bonus and benefits.

Location: UK (Remote). Flexible UK location, with travel to the London office approximately twice per month.

New Leaf Search is collaborating with a leading European financial services organisation in its search for a Head of Stocking.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to take ownership of a specialist dealer stocking finance proposition, leading an established team while developing and executing a strategy for significant future growth.

The successful candidate will strengthen existing dealer and manufacturer relationships, identify opportunities to expand into new asset sectors and ensure that the operational platform, processes and team capability are positioned to support ambitious growth plans. The role combines commercial strategy, operational leadership and market development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, manage and develop the Stocking team, driving high standards of service and performance.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow the stocking finance proposition across existing and new sectors.
  • Build and implement new dealer and manufacturer stocking schemes.
  • Strengthen relationships with dealers, manufacturers and internal sales teams.
  • Identify new market opportunities that meet agreed risk and profitability requirements.
  • Oversee stocking systems, processes, controls and operational delivery.
  • Monitor dealer utilisation, performance, audit activity and portfolio reporting.
  • Deliver clear management information and progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and customer experience.
  • Contribute to the wider strategic development of the business.

Person Specification

  • Significant experience within Stocking Finance, Dealer Finance, Asset Finance or a closely related specialist lending environment.
  • Strong knowledge of dealer and manufacturer finance structures.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate and develop teams.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop new markets and asset sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of stocking products, systems and operational processes.
  • Strong customer relationship, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Asset Finance products including Hire Purchase, Loan and Lease.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously within a senior, commercially focused remote role.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing. Relevant IN-COUNTRY experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
