Our client a long established IT financier are seeking to hire a Channel Business Development Manager to further build their presence in the channel with VAR’s , systems integrators , OEM’s etc.
They have a compelling proposition that includes
1 : A range of funders to enable very high acceptance levels for deals from very low level to £MM+
2 : A receivables funding model that enables only ever their own documentation to be offered to customers
3 : The ability to finance any IT hardware , software and services
4 : The ability to accept market leading residual value risk positions in leading name hardware manufacturers
5 : A willingness to refurbish and remarket themselves off book end of lease assets providing not only competitive pricing but also a genuinely eco friendly solution to CTO’s & CIO’s.
They are seeking a Greater London area located genuine new business hunter who has the ability to evangelise their proposition to Sales Director’s & CEO’s of resellers and who has the gravitas and presence to win new business.
It is likely that you will inherit some existing relationships but we expect you to view this as a bonus and not something that you would need to have to hit your realistic targets.
Candidate Profile
To apply you should be located in the Greater London area and be someone who is familiar with the IT finance sector and has a record of success in the IT finance sector.
Our client will expect you when not in front of dealers , partners or their customers to work largely from their offices in central London , tactically you can also work from home but this is not a role where you will be sat at home.

- You want to be paid solely on your personal results ( no team target , no getting paid based on the performance of the company or parent company )
- You want or better still need a six figure income as a minimum and preferably more
- You desire a wholly uncapped pay plan
- You are a self managing individual who would describe themselves as driven but are still a team player.
- You have a stable work record
Please do not apply if :
- You need to be given large numbers of accounts to succeed
- You need a big brand name on your business card to be able to succeed
- You would rather have a higher salary and a smaller com plan , our client wants to pay for performance not pay a £90,000 base.
- You want to work from home all the time
- You would honestly characterise yourself as more of a farmer than a hunter
- You are not able or willing to share ( visually only ) some details to substantiate your success ( think P60’s , commendations , com plan stats , sales figure stats etc )
- You have had more than 3 jobs in the last 6 years
The above said in this environment you will have daily access to the CEO , COO and CSO this means that decision line are short and decisions are made fast , it also means you will be both visible and accountable.
