Aldermore on track to find winning formula28/03/2018
Aldermore, the specialist bank, today announces the sponsorship of teenage motor-racing sensation, Jamie Chadwick. The Bank will become Jamie’s principal backer for the British Racing Driver’s Club British Formula 3 Championship season.
Tipped to be the first female F1 driver in decades, Chadwick lifted her first trophy at the age of 17 when she won the British GT Championship.
Aldermore’s branding will appear on the body of the car, wing mirrors, as well as Jamie’s racing overalls and helmet. The newly branded car and livery will be seen making its debut this weekend at the F3 Championships at Oulton Park, Cheshire.
Jamie’s determination and commitment to achieving success in her chosen field reflects the Bank’s own passion for supporting individuals and SMEs to fulfil their dreams and aspirations. Her drive to disrupt the traditionally held views of motor racing is fully aligned with the Bank’s diversity and inclusion goals which include supporting gender balance across the workplace.
Carl D’Ammassa, Group Managing Director, Business Finance at Aldermore, said, “We are delighted to have this fantastic opportunity to sponsor Jamie as she continues to fulfil her ambitions in the world of motor racing. There are many parallels between us - she is a real go getter, works hard to achieve her dreams and confronts the norm, which is totally in line with our aspirations to support our customer’s goals. SMEs are the backbone of the UK economy and we will continue to support them to seek and seize opportunities just like Jamie, as she aims to become the first female F1 driver in decades.”
Jamie Chadwick said, “I’m delighted to have partnered with Aldermore for the coming season. There are an amazing number of synergies between what we are trying to achieve in our respective industries, and I have been really impressed by their refreshing and contemporary approach. I’m very grateful for Aldermore’s support and I have no doubt that this is just the start of a long and successful relationship.”
