Commitment rewarded at NACFB Gala Dinner30/11/2018
Investec Asset Finance and industry stalwart Graham Hill were among the many recipients of awards at last night's NACFB Gala Dinner.
Investec Asset Finance took home the trophy for Leasing and Asset Provider of the Year, while Graham was given the Lifetime Contribution Award, although he might well have argued he is not done contributing yet.
One senses the Association has hit on a formula that works well and doesn't need much changing. Both drinks reception and after-party were well attended, Gyles Brandreth has clearly done his homework as guest host, and the event went off with a professional swing (award winners were strictly advised not to go near the microphones, so the award ceremony itself moved pacily along from one trophy to the next).
Through a silent auction, the sum of £14,720 was raised by the guests in the room for Tommy's, the charity that aims to reduce the number of babies lost during pregnancy and birth.
Our thanks go out to event sponsors Lloyds, MFS, Growth Street and Aldermore, and to the NACFB and its staff for putting on one of the defining evenings of the industry's year.
