Five of the best: our Gold Awards finalists

We’re welcoming a winners’ Wednesday by sharing the first batch of five shortlists for the Leasing World Gold Awards 2022, coming in just five weeks’ time on 20 October.

The Gold Awards promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening even for those who don't pick up our upgraded, shinier-than-ever statuettes, and we've got plenty to hand out. Here's the first batch of shortlists to reveal which companies are in the running for the big prizes.

1. In the running for the Broker Champion Award are Aldermore, United Trust Bank, Hampshire Trust Bank, Novuna Business Finance, BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, Close Brothers Business Finance, and Haydock Finance. 

 

2. Competing for the Next Generation Award, we’ve been delighted by strong nominations for the following:

Bethany Brice (DF Capital)

Aaron Ghuman (Shire Leasing)

Jodie Leonard (Liberty Leasing)

Joshua Mendelsohn (Aldermore)

Grace Reeves (DF Capital)

Martyna Taiber (Novuna Business Finance)

 

3. Meanwhile, in the Top Independent Funder category, we have finalist-worthy entries from 

STAR Asset Finance , Liberty Leasing, Haydock Finance, Novuna Business Finance, Simply, Praetura Asset Finance, Propel Finance and Shire Leasing.

 

4. In the SME Specialist of the Year category, we've strong entries from Cambridge & Counties Bank, Allica Bank, Paragon Bank, Propel Finance, Simply, Haydock Finance, and United Trust Bank.

 

5. And competing to be recognised as this year’s SME Champion category are: Close Brothers Asset Finance, Aldermore, and Novuna Business Finance.
